My interest in film started with a strong foundation in photography and intuitive drive to tell stories. Both strengths urged me to major in Digital Media Art (specialized in digital film production) at the Communication University of China (CUC).

This persistence continued when I started taking filmmaking courses, which was my core curriculum. I also tried to work in different roles, such as director, producer, screenwriter, art director, director of photography, and editor. Through these projects, my skills in filmmaking continued to improve. I am now an experienced filmmaker with a distinct style. I also became skilled in visual narration, editing, and set constructing. Filmmaking has become something that I use to recreate strong emotions that I, and the people around me, experienced, in order to share them with others. Along with my journey, I have become increasingly aware of the challenges that I must face and the shortcomings that I must overcome in order to continue down the path. In the future, I would like to explore some new ways of visual storytelling.
